For Guangdong Province, forestry plays an important role. Since 1985, a real green revolution is taking place there. Interested in getting acquainted with Israel’s experience in afforestation and ecosystem management, a senior professional delegation headed by Mr. Shangde Peng, Deputy Director of the Forest Administration from Guangdong, visited Israel this week. Together with KKL-JNF's professional team, we organized a half-day conference at MATC - MASHAV Agricultural Training Center and strengthened friendship by planting trees at Tzora Forest. Our special thanks to Ambassador Peleg Pablo Lewi, Consul General of Israell in Guangzhou for his assistance and to KKL's team for their continued cooperation.
